HR Assistant / HR Administrative / HR Support Officer

Role Description The Director will provide strategic and operational leadership for the foundation’s programs and services in the Greater Chennai Area. This full-time, on-site role includes overseeing program design and implementation, managing staff and volunteers, and ensuring that services align with the organization’s mission of holistic health and wellness. The Director will build and maintain relationships with schools, community partners, and stakeholders, and will represent the foundation at meetings, events, and outreach activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and monitoring budgets, measuring program impact, preparing reports for the board, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations. The Director will also support fundraising initiatives, grant applications, and training programs for educators and support staff.QualificationsProven leadership and management experience in nonprofit, education, health, or social impact organizations.Strong skills in strategic planning, program development, and operational oversight.Experience in stakeholder engagement, partnership building, and community outreach.Ability to manage budgets, monitor program performance, and prepare clear reports and presentations.Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across diverse groups.Background or strong interest in holistic health, wellness, mental health, or related fields is highly beneficial.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in social work, public health, education, management, or a related discipline preferred.Comfort working on-site in the Greater Chennai Area and collaborating closely with schools and local communities.
