Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe have a great opportunity of HR Lead for our FMCG Client based in Sri Lanka.Job Title: HR LeadLocation: Sri LankaRole Summary:The HR Lead will be responsible for leading the end-to-end Human Resources function for the Bangladesh business. This role ensures HR is a true business partner by delivering on talent priorities, strengthening people capabilities, driving performance culture, and enabling organizational effectiveness.The incumbent will champion a high-performance culture, lead the Diversity & Inclusion (D&I)agenda, localize and implement global/regional HR strategies, and ensure compliance withpolicies, SOPs, and labor laws. As a culture ambassador, the HR Lead will play a critical role inshaping the employee experience and aligning people strategy with business goals.Key Responsibilities:1.Strategic HR LeadershipPartner with senior leadership to define and implement HR strategies aligned with the business vision and growth roadmap.Act as the key liaison for rolling out regional and global HR initiatives in the Bangladesh context.Drive change management, organization design, and cultural transformation initiatives.2.Talent Acquisition & ManagementLead end-to-end recruitment strategy, ensuring best-in-class talent attraction and onboarding processes.Build talent pipelines for critical roles and future workforce planning.Own succession planning and leadership development strategy.3.Performance ManagementOversee and execute the full-cycle Performance Management process.Enable a performance-driven culture through continuous feedback, coaching, and calibration practices.Manage talent and drive differentiated development and retention interventions.4.Learning, Development & Capability BuildingAssess organizational capability gaps and lead the learning and development agenda.Design and implement training programs aligned with business and functional needs.Institutionalize capability frameworks and learning journeys for key roles.5.Employee Experience & CultureFoster a strong employer brand and positive work environment.Act as the Culture Custodian – living and promoting core values through people practices and leadership behaviors.Lead engagement surveys, pulse checks, and resulting action planning.6.Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)Champion the DEI agenda and embed inclusive practices across hiring, development, and workplace policies.Collaborate with business leaders to set and deliver DEI goals and initiatives.7.HR Governance & ComplianceDevelop, implement, and maintain HR policies, SOPs, and processes in alignment with local laws and corporate standards.Ensure labor law compliance and audit readiness at all times.Monitor HR metrics and provide analytics-driven insights to leadership.8.Operations, Systems & Vendor ManagementOversee payroll, compensation and benefits administration, HRIS and employee records.Partner with external HR service providers, legal consultants, and government bodies where necessary.Ensure data privacy, system integrity, and operational excellence.Ensure timely reporting, dashboard and analytics.Required Skills & Competencies:• Strategic thinking with execution capability• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills• People-centricity and Emotional Intelligence.• In-depth knowledge of labor law, compliance, and HR best practices• Expertise in Performance Management, Capability Building, and Change Leadership• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills• Familiarity with HR technologies and data analytics toolsQualifications & Experience:• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.• Minimum 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, including experience in HR leadership roles.• Experience in driving culture, performance, and talent strategies in a FMCG organization.• Exposure to MNC or regional/global matrix environments will be a plus.
