Synergy Ventures is focused on collaboration and growth, providing opportunities for professionals to contribute to a dynamic and expanding organization.Role Description The HR Manager role at Synergy Ventures is a full-time, on-site position based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The HR Manager will oversee end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR policy implementation across the company’s diverse business lines. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and updating HR policies, managing employee records, supporting workforce planning, and coordinating training and development initiatives. The role also involves ensuring compliance with local labor laws and company standards, advising management on HR best practices, and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture. The HR Manager will collaborate closely with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals and support the company’s growth.Qualifications Experience in core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices in Cambodia.Skills in communication, conflict resolution, negotiation, and stakeholder management.Ability to develop and implement HR processes, organizational structures, and training programs.Proficiency in using HRIS or HR-related software, and comfort with general office and productivity tools.Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.Prior experience in multi-industry or service-oriented organizations (hospitality, tech, construction, recruitment, or marketing) is an advantage.Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality.Fluency in English; proficiency in Khmer or other regional languages is a plus.
