HR Operations Manager / Payroll & Benefits Lead

Role Description The Director at Reiseliv24.no will oversee the overall strategic direction, editorial focus, and operational performance of the publication. This full-time on-site role, based in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex, includes leading and developing the team, setting content priorities, and ensuring high journalistic standards. The Director will manage budgeting and resource allocation, coordinate with advertising and partnership stakeholders, and drive initiatives to grow readership and engagement. Daily responsibilities include reviewing key stories, supporting editorial decisions, monitoring performance metrics, and representing the publication in industry forums and public events.QualificationsLeadership and management skills, including team development, performance oversight, and strategic planning.Editorial and journalism experience, with strong abilities in news judgment, content oversight, and quality control.Business and operational skills, such as budgeting, resource management, and process improvement.Communication and stakeholder management skills, including public speaking, negotiation, and relationship building.Experience in media, publishing, or the travel and tourism sector is highly beneficial.Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, business, or a related field; an advanced degree is an advantage.Ability to work on-site in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex and collaborate effectively in a cross-cultural environment.
