Apply & track with Apply EdgePosition Description:Leads the full recruitment lifecycle for American Hospital Dubai, ensuring strategic workforce planning, targeted sourcing, competency-based assessments, and compliance with organisational and regulatory standards. Partners closely with department leaders to forecast staffing needs and drives both local and international recruitment initiatives, including focused efforts to attract qualified Western expatriate professionals for Dubai-based positions in alignment with AHD's talent strategy and service excellence expectations. Oversees recruitment campaigns, manages pre-employment processing, and ensures a high-quality candidate experience.Position Responsibility:Strategic Recruitment Planning and Workforce AlignmentDevelops the annual recruitment plan based on departmental staffing needs and organisational priorities.Collaborates with Department Directors/Heads to define role requirements, competencies, and selection criteria.Leads targeted international recruitment, particularly in Western markets, to attract qualified expatriate professionals for Dubai-based roles.Builds sustainable sourcing pipelines through global partnerships, recruitment agencies, digital platforms, and employer-branding initiatives.Talent Sourcing, Screening, and AssessmentScreens candidates through structured CV evaluation, internal database utilisation, and standardised assessment tools.Designs and administers job-specific tests and competency-based assessments.Develops structured shortlists aligned with job requirements and departmental needs.Selection Management and EvaluationPlans and coordinates interviews, prepares interview materials, and compiles candidate evaluation summaries.Participates in selection committees for roles across all levels, including managerial and director-level positions.Consolidates interview panel feedback to ensure objective, fair, and transparent hiring decisions.Candidate Engagement, Job Offers, and Pre-EmploymentPrepares job offers and reviews them with the HR Director for approval.Clearly communicates employment terms, benefits, and joining requirements to selected candidates.Coordinates all pre-employment formalities, including medical examinations, documentation, and onboarding requirements, ensuring completeness and compliance.Recruitment Operations and Team LeadershipSupervises Recruitment Specialists and Senior Recruitment Specialists to ensure workload balance and timely recruitment delivery.Maintains accurate weekly and monthly recruitment reports to support leadership decision-making and manpower planning.External Recruitment Campaigns and Employer BrandingOrganises and participates in recruitment campaigns, job fairs, open days, and other large-scale hiring initiatives.Coordinates local and international interview schedules through various communication platforms.Supports employer-branding efforts to position AHD as a preferred employer for international talent, particularly Western expatriate professionals.Compliance, Confidentiality, and Additional DutiesEnsures adherence to AHD policies, UAE Labour Law, and relevant regulatory requirements.Maintains strict confidentiality when handling candidate and employee information.Performs additional duties as assigned by the HR Director.Position Qualification:Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Healthcare Administration, or related field.Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Healthcare Leadership preferred.Certification in Recruitment, Talent Management, or Healthcare HR (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, CHHR).PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in healthcare recruitment, including at least three (3) years focused on physician recruitment in the UAE.Knowledge of UAE Labour Law and healthcare recruitment practices.Knowledge of competency-based recruitment and assessment methodologies.Skills in international hiring, especially Western expatriate recruitment.Skills in HRIS/ATS platforms and computer applications (e.g., Oracle).Skills in professional written and verbal communication with fluency in English.Skills in sourcing and evaluating international candidates across diverse talent markets.Ability to lead recruitment teams and manage high-volume hiring within tight timelines.Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information professionally.Ability to conduct structured interviews and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
