The role can cover a broad range of human resources activities, from day-to-day employee support and HR administration to strategic workforce planning and organizational development.The position works closely with leadership and employees to ensure that HR policies, processes, and people initiatives are aligned with organizational objectives. Responsibilities may include employee relations, recruitment coordination, onboarding, performance management, compensation administration, workforce planning, HR documentation, and workplace policy development.A key responsibility is maintaining effective HR operations. This includes managing employee records, coordinating HR processes, maintaining accurate documentation, supporting internal procedures, and ensuring that employee-related information is handled appropriately and confidentially.The role may also support recruitment and talent management activities by coordinating job requirements, candidate communication, interview processes, onboarding arrangements, and employee integration. The position works with hiring managers to ensure that workforce requirements are clearly understood and appropriately addressed.Employee relations are another important area. The role supports employees and managers with workplace questions, HR procedures, internal policies, performance matters, and general people-related concerns. The position promotes professional communication and helps facilitate constructive solutions to workplace issues.The HR & Administration Manager or CPO may also oversee broader people strategies, including workforce planning, organizational structure, employee engagement, leadership development, succession planning, and culture initiatives. The role contributes to creating a workplace environment that supports productivity, collaboration, retention, and organizational growth.The position may be responsible for developing, reviewing, and implementing HR policies and administrative procedures. This includes ensuring that internal practices remain consistent, practical, and aligned with applicable employment requirements and organizational standards.Performance management is also part of the role. Responsibilities may include supporting performance review processes, defining HR-related procedures, coordinating objectives, and helping managers address performance development needs through structured processes.The role also works with finance and leadership teams on compensation, benefits, payroll coordination, workforce costs, and related administrative matters where applicable. Confidential handling of employee and compensation information is essential.For senior-level responsibilities, the Chief People Officer contributes to organizational strategy by providing leadership with insights into workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, people risks, talent priorities, and employee engagement. The position helps ensure that people strategy supports long-term business objectives.The role requires strong coordination across departments and the ability to balance employee needs with organizational priorities. Clear communication, sound judgment, confidentiality, and a structured approach to HR operations are essential.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Management, or a related field is preferred.Strong understanding of human resources principles, employee administration, organizational processes, and workplace practices.Familiarity with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, and HR documentation.Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, employee records, and confidential information management.Ability to coordinate recruitment processes and work effectively with hiring managers and internal stakeholders.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees at different organizational levels.Ability to handle employee concerns, workplace issues, and HR inquiries with discretion and professionalism.Familiarity with HRIS, payroll systems, applicant tracking systems, employee databases, and digital HR platforms.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple HR and administrative priorities.Understanding of workforce planning, organizational development, employee engagement, and talent management.Ability to support performance management processes and organizational improvement initiatives.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data, workforce information, and organizational metrics.Ability to prepare HR reports, workforce summaries, policies, procedures, and management presentations.Strong knowledge of employment compliance principles and workplace governance requirements.Ability to collaborate effectively with finance, legal, operations, management, and other business functions.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a practical and people-focused approach.Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when handling employee, compensation, performance, and organizational information.Strong leadership and stakeholder-management capabilities for senior HR and people-management responsibilities.Strategic thinking and business awareness, particularly for senior HR management and CPO-level responsibilities.HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, CIPD, HRCI, or equivalent professional credentials are welcomed but not mandatory.
