1. Role PurposeTo coordinate, execute and monitor the organization’s training and capability-building initiatives across Manufacturing, Corporate and Sales functions, ensuring effective delivery, participation, trainer readiness and measurable learning outcomes.The role will also support the development and deployment of an internal Train-the-Trainer ecosystem, enabling identified internal trainers to deliver standardized training programs effectively.2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Training Planning & CoordinationPrepare the annual and monthly training calendar in coordination with business and functional heads.Coordinate training nominations, schedules, venues, trainers, training materials and logistics.Ensure timely communication of training programs to participants and stakeholders.Maintain training calendars and track completion against plan.Coordinate classroom, virtual, on-the-job and blended learning programs.B. Train-the-Trainer ManagementIdentify and coordinate internal trainers/Subject Matter Experts.Conduct or facilitate Train-the-Trainer programs for identified employees.Assess trainer readiness and support trainers in improving presentation and facilitation skills.Develop trainer guides, facilitator notes, session plans and training aids.Ensure standardization of training content across locations.Observe training sessions and provide constructive feedback to trainers.C. Training Content & Learning MaterialCoordinate development and updating of training modules, presentations, workbooks, SOP-based learning material and assessments.Convert business/process requirements into structured learning interventions.Ensure training content is aligned with organizational standards, policies and business requirements.Support creation of micro-learning content, videos, quizzes and other digital learning materials.D. Sales TrainingCoordinate capability-building programs for Sales Manages, Sales Staff, Supervisors and other employees.Support training on customer service, product knowledge, selling skills, objection management, sales aptitudeTrack training coverage across stores and regions.Support onboarding and induction programs for new sales employees.E. Manufacturing & Functional TrainingCoordinate technical, behavioural, safety, productivity and functional training programs for manufacturing units.Work with functional SMEs to identify skill gaps and develop appropriate interventions.Support skill certification and competency-based training initiatives.F. Training Effectiveness & AnalyticsTrack training attendance, completion and coverage.Measure training effectiveness through feedback, assessments and post-training evaluation.Monitor key training KPIs such as:Training hours per employeeTraining coverage %Mandatory training completion %Assessment scoresTrainer effectivenessTraining effectiveness / application at workplacePrepare monthly and quarterly L&D dashboards for management.G. LMS / HRMS & Training RecordsMaintain accurate employee training records through HRMS/LMS.Ensure timely updating of training attendance, assessments and certifications.Generate training MIS and analytics for HR and business leaders.Support automation and digitisation of learning processes.3. Competencies RequiredStrong facilitation and presentation skillsTrain-the-Trainer capabilityExcellent coordination and stakeholder managementGood communication skills in English and Tamil; Hindi would be an advantageStrong MS Excel / PowerPoint skillsAbility to work with large and geographically distributed teamsLearning needs identificationTraining evaluation and assessmentContent developmentData orientation and MIS capabilityAbility to influence internal stakeholdersStrong execution discipline5. Preferred ProfileThe ideal candidate should have:3–6 years of core experience in Learning & Development / Training CoordinationExperience in Manufacturing, Apparel/Textiles, FMCG, Sales or a large multi-location organizationTrain-the-Trainer certificationExperience in facilitating classroom training or supporting internal trainersExposure to LMS/HRMS-based learning managementExperience managing training programs across multiple locationsStrong ability to work with Managers, Supervisors, Factory teams and functional SMEs6. Ideal Candidate ProfileA certified Train-the-Trainer professional who can move beyond training coordination into building a strong internal trainer ecosystem, ensuring standardized capability development across Manufacturing, Corporate and Sales functions.
