The selected candidates will be responsible for effective classroom teaching, student development, academic assessment, classroom management, and participation in various academic and co-curricular activities.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.Prepare lesson plans, teaching resources, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.Monitor and evaluate students’ academic performance and overall development.Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.Use appropriate and activity-based teaching methodologies to enhance student learning.Maintain accurate student attendance, academic records, and other relevant documentation.Provide appropriate academic support and guidance to students.Participate in examinations, school events, co-curricular activities, and other academic responsibilities.Coordinate with fellow teachers and school administration regarding student-related matters.Additional responsibilities for Homeroom Teacher (HRT):Take overall responsibility for the assigned class.Monitor students’ attendance, behaviour, academic progress, and general well-being.Coordinate with subject teachers to track student performance and address concerns.Communicate with parents regarding students’ academic progress, attendance, and development.Maintain class-related records and documentation.QualificationsBachelor's/Master's Degree from a recognized university.For PRT positions, the degree should be in the relevant subject/discipline:PRT – Social Studies: Bachelor's/Master's in History, Geography, Political Science, or related discipline.PRT – Hindi: Bachelor's/Master's in Hindi.PRT – Science: Bachelor's/Master's in Science (relevant discipline).B.Ed./D.El.Ed./B.El.Ed. or equivalent teacher-education qualification, as applicable under NCTE/CBSE norms.CTET/TET qualification, wherever applicable.Relevant school teaching experience will be preferred.Skills & CompetenciesStrong communication and interpersonal skills.Good classroom management and student-handling abilities.Strong subject knowledge for the respective PRT position.Effective lesson planning and teaching skills.Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school administration.Commitment to students’ academic, social, and overall development.
