In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all airport operations. You will conduct systematic inspections, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective measures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel. Your expertise in airport safety standards and regulatory requirements will be critical to protecting our workforce and maintaining operational excellence.Conduct comprehensive HSE inspections and audits across airport facilities, including terminal buildings, cargo areas, maintenance hangars, and ground operations zonesIdentify, document, and analyze potential hazards and safety risks in accordance with Saudi Arabia's HSE regulations and international aviation safety standardsInvestigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend preventive measuresPrepare detailed inspection reports and audit findings with clear documentation of non-conformances and corrective action requirementsEnsure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and industry best practices across all airport operationsCollaborate with department heads and operational teams to develop and implement safety improvement programsConduct safety training sessions and awareness programs for airport personnelMaintain organized records of all inspections, audits, and corrective actions for regulatory reviewMonitor the effectiveness of implemented safety measures and recommend continuous improvementsLiaise with regulatory authorities and external auditors during compliance reviews and inspectionsQualificationsMinimum 4 years of HSE inspection experience in airport operations or aviation-related environmentsAviation experience is preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of Saudi Arabia's HSE regulations and international aviation safety standardsProven expertise in hazard identification, risk assessment, and safety management systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex safety incidentsExcellent documentation and technical report writing abilitiesProficiency in HSE audit procedures and inspection methodologiesDemonstrated experience with incident investigation and root cause analysisKnowledge of airport operations, ground handling, and aviation safety protocolsStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse stakeholder groupsProficiency in HSE management software and Microsoft Office applicationsProfessional certification in HSE (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) is preferredExperience with safety management system implementation and auditing is preferredAbility to mentor and train operational staff on HSE best practices is preferred
