HSE Inspector

We are looking for an experienced and proactive HSE Inspector to support tenant Fit-Out projects in DIFC, Dubai, ensuring that all site activities are carried out safely and in compliance with project HSE requirements, approved procedures and applicable regulations.📍 Location: DIFC, Dubai💼 Position: HSE Inspector – Fit-Out

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular HSE inspections across ongoing tenant Fit-Out projects and identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions and non-compliance.Monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with approved HSE procedures, site rules and Fit-Out requirements.Verify required work permits are valid, and appropriate controls are in place before commencement of activities.Review and monitor compliance with risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).Monitor high-risk activities including hot works, work at height, electrical works, lifting activities and MEP installation works.Conduct daily site walks and promptly report HSE violations and observations requiring corrective action.Coordinate with Fit-Out Engineers, Site Inspectors, tenants and contractors to resolve HSE-related issues.Follow up with contractors to ensure identified HSE observations and violations are closed within the required timeframe.Monitor the proper use of PPE and implementation of safe working practices.Ensure work areas maintain appropriate housekeeping, access/egress and fire & life safety precautions.Participate in contractor inductions, toolbox talks and site safety briefings as required.Monitor work permits and coordinate with project teams regarding permit renewals and expiry.Support the investigation and documentation of incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions.Maintain accurate inspection records, HSE observations, violation reports and supporting documentation.Escalate serious or recurring safety violations to the relevant management team.Support emergency preparedness and ensure contractors understand applicable emergency procedures.Work closely with Fit-Out and engineering teams to maintain a strong safety culture throughout the project lifecycle.Candidate Requirements:✅ Relevant qualification in Health, Safety & Environment / Occupational Health & Safety✅ Previous HSE experience within Fit-Out, construction, MEP or Facilities Management projects✅ Strong knowledge of Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems✅ Experience reviewing Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS)✅ Knowledge of work-at-height, hot work, electrical and general construction safety✅ Experience conducting site inspections and issuing/following up HSE observations✅ Good understanding of PPE, housekeeping and fire & life safety requirements✅ Strong contractor and subcontractor coordination skills✅ Good reporting and documentation skills✅ Able to communicate confidently with contractors, engineers and project stakeholdersNEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent recognised HSE certification would be highly advantageous.Experience: We’re Looking for candidates with previous HSE experience within any of the following environments would be particularly relevant:Tenant Fit-Out projectsCommercial buildingsRetail and F&B Fit-OutHigh-rise / mixed-use developmentsFacilities ManagementMEP projectsInterior Fit-Out / construction projects📩 Interested CandidatesIf you have strong experience in HSE site inspection and Fit-Out/construction safety and are looking for an opportunity in Dubai, we would like to hear from you.Please apply through LinkedIn or share your updated CV with the recruitment team, mentioning “HSE Inspector – Fit-Out” in your application.#Hiring #HSEInspector #HSE #HealthAndSafety #SafetyInspector #FitOut #TenantFitOut #ConstructionSafety #MEP #PermitToWork #RiskAssessment #NEBOSH #IOSH #FacilitiesManagement #DIFC #DubaiJobs #UAEJobs #HiringInDubai
