Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to support the leadership and continuous improvement of Health, Safety and Environmental performance across operations.The role will contribute to the implementation of HSE strategies, systems, procedures, and initiatives in line with UAE regulations, international standards, and corporate objectives.The successful candidate will act as a key focal point for operational HSE support, risk management, contractor safety, audits, inspections, emergency preparedness, incident investigations, and performance reporting. This role is important in promoting a proactive safety culture, ensuring compliance with safe work practices, and supporting continuous improvement across employees, contractors, and operational teams.Key responsibilities include:Supporting the implementation and improvement of the HSE Management System.Monitoring compliance with UAE regulations, international standards, and company HSE requirements.Leading or supporting incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action follow-up.Conducting HSE audits, inspections, assurance activities, and contractor evaluations.Supporting risk assessments, emergency response planning, drills, and crisis management activities.Providing technical HSE guidance to operational and project teams.Promoting behavioral safety programs, awareness campaigns, and a strong HSE culture.Preparing HSE reports, statistics, presentations, and management updates.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline.NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent certification is essential.Additional professional HSE certifications are preferred.Minimum 8–10 years of HSE experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.Experience in operational HSE support, risk management, incident investigation, contractor safety management, audits, and emergency response.Familiarity with UAE HSE regulations and international standards.Strong knowledge of HSE Management Systems, Control of Work, Permit to Work, and Management of Change processes.Strong communication, leadership, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.Willingness to visit operational sites and participate in emergency response activities when required.
