HSE Officer – Building & Infrastructure

We are looking for an experienced HSE Officer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of HSE experience across building and infrastructure projects, with strong knowledge of UAE health, safety and environmental requirements.The role will involve monitoring site activities, ensuring compliance with approved HSE procedures, identifying potential risks, and supporting project teams in maintaining a safe working environment.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with HSE policies, UAE regulations and project requirements.Conduct site inspections, safety audits, risk assessments and HSE observations.Review RAMS, HSE plans, permits and safety documentation.Monitor high-risk activities including excavation, lifting, work at height, hot works and confined spaces.Ensure contractors and subcontractors follow approved HSE standards and procedures.Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings and HSE awareness sessions.Investigate incidents, near misses and unsafe practices and recommend corrective actions.Maintain HSE records, reports, statistics and track corrective action closure.Monitor emergency preparedness, fire safety and first-aid arrangements.Coordinate with project teams, consultants and contractors to promote a strong site safety culture.RequirementsDiploma/Bachelor’s Degree in HSE, Engineering or a related field.8+ years of HSE experience in building and infrastructure projects.UAE experience is mandatory, with Dubai project experience preferred.Consultant/supervision consultant experience is an advantage.Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, RAMS, PTW, risk assessments and site safety.NEBOSH IGC required; Level 6 HSE Diploma is an added advantage.Strong communication, reporting and coordination skills.
