HSE Officer – Villa ProjectsProject: High-End / Luxury Villa DevelopmentEmployment Type: Full-TimeWe are seeking an experienced HSE Officer to join our team for a major villa construction project. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental requirements across the project site.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and monitor the project HSE Plan, policies, procedures, and risk assessments.Conduct daily site inspections to identify unsafe conditions, practices, and potential hazards.Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, client requirements, and project safety standards.Monitor construction activities including civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and finishing works.Prepare and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).Conduct Toolbox Talks, safety inductions, and safety awareness training.Monitor work-at-height, scaffolding, excavation, lifting operations, hot works, electrical works, and confined spaces.Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with site safety requirements.Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe occurrences and prepare reports.Monitor subcontractors' HSE performance and ensure corrective actions are implemented.Conduct regular emergency preparedness drills and inspections.Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, incident reports, and safety statistics.Coordinate with the Construction Manager, Site Engineers, subcontractors, and consultant on HSE matters.Stop unsafe work when necessary and ensure corrective measures are implemented.Monitor housekeeping, waste management, access routes, storage areas, and overall site conditions.RequirementsMinimum 5 years of HSE experience in construction.Proven experience in villa, luxury residential, or building construction projects.UAE construction experience is preferred.NEBOSH IGC is highly desirable.IOSH certification and relevant UAE HSE training/certifications preferred.Strong knowledge of construction safety practices and UAE HSE requirements.Good communication and reporting skills.Ability to work independently and effectively with site teams and subcontractors.
