HSE Officer

The candidate must possess a strong personality and sufficient experience in managing and controlling manpower and labor at the project site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and minimizing the risk of violations or accidents.JOB PURPOSE: Taking all measures to avoid any incidents to occur on site by overseeing and assuring that the HSE programs and procedures are correctly implemented by all the entities working on site. Increasing the HSE awareness and spreading the culture that HSE is the first priority to have a safe work environment.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Develop, implement, and maintain safety and environmental plans for all phases of the project in line with local, regional, and international standards. 2. Identify safety and environmental hazards and assess risk levels for the construction project. 3. Oversee overall compliance with safety regulations and procedures. 4. Ensure that all safety equipment is inspected and maintained regularly. 5. Research related regulations, industry best practices, and advancements in safety and environmental technology 6. Participate in safety and environmental audits of the construction site. 7. Document and record all safety and environmental activities. 8. Monitor the health, safety, and environmental procedures of subcontractors. 9. Lead investigations of accidents and incidents 10. Cooperate with other stakeholders such as government agencies, clients, and insurance companies. 11. Monitor, assess, and recommend improvements to the safety and health of construction projects. 12. Ensure compliance with applicable safety and health regulations. 13. Inspect work sites to identify and address safety hazards.14. Coordinate with other safety and health professionals to ensure safe and healthy work environments. 15. Investigate accidents and incidents and recommend corrective actions. 16. Prepare reports on safety and health performance. 17. Maintain records of safety and health inspections. 18. Stay up to date on new safety and health regulations and best practices. 19. Perform any other task assigned to him within the limits of his job duties and responsibilities.EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:This position required at least 5+ years of experience in the same field.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:1. BSc degree if a must. 2. Very Good in English and Arabic Languages (Reading, Writing and Speaking).QUALIFICATIONS:1. OSHA 020 OSHA General Industry Safety and Health Training 2.
