HSE Officer - Engineer

Key ResponsibilitiesConduct daily plant inspections and identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions and HSE non-compliances.Monitor and enforce the Permit to Work (PTW) system, PPE requirements and safe-working practices.Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification.Monitor contractor HSE compliance, documentation and adherence to approved risk assessments.Support environmental monitoring including noise, LUX, air quality and stack emissions.Investigate incidents and near misses using Root Cause Analysis, and track Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).Maintain incident registers and prepare periodic HSE reports.Conduct HSE inductions, toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions.Coordinate and conduct emergency drills including fire, chemical spill, confined space and first aid scenarios.Coordinate inspection, certification and maintenance of firefighting and critical safety equipment.Maintain HSE documentation, inspection logs, training records, risk assessments, CAPA trackers and regulatory correspondence.Support regulatory inspections and maintain audit-ready documentation. Mandatory RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science.NEBOSH IGC – mandatory.Registered / Eligible OHS Practitioner with Dubai Municipality – DM-HSD-S3 – mandatory.Minimum 2–4 years of HSE experience within lubricants, chemicals, oil & gas or manufacturing environments.Strong understanding of plant-floor HSE and industrial safety practices.Proficiency in English. PreferredIOSH Managing Safely.Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.Hindi / Urdu language capability preferred; Arabic is an advantage.
