Job Title: HSE OfficerLocation: Ajman, UAEIndustry: Foods and BeverageEmployment Type: Full-timeSalary: AED 5,000/monthBenefits: Employment Visa, Medical Insurance, Annual Leave, Annual Air Ticket.NEBOSH International Certificate (Mandatory)About the Role:We're looking for a proactive HSE Officer to join a leading Food & Beverage manufacturing company in Ajman. Ensure the Health & Safety system and Environmental Management System are established and maintained by the company. The people in this position are also responsible for ensuring corrective actions are taken against the Health, Safety & Environmental issues related to the company.Key Responsibilities:• Implement and monitor Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures across the site.• Ensure compliance with company standards, legal regulations, and HSE management systems.• Conduct workplace inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.• Investigate workplace incidents, injuries, and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.• Promote health, safety, and environmental awareness through training and guidance.• Report workplace hazards and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.• Identify potential safety risks related to facilities, equipment, and operations.• Monitor environmental compliance and coordinate environmental improvement activities.• Maintain HSE records, reports, KPIs, and documentation.• Develop, implement, and continuously improve HSE processes, systems, and procedures.• Conduct internal HSE audits and ensure effective follow-up on corrective actions.Requirements:• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science.• NEBOSH International Certificate (Mandatory).• 2–3 years of experience in an HSE role within a large organisation (food industry experience is an advantage).• Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and regulatory compliance.• Experience in conducting HSE audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.• Ability to prepare detailed audit reports and recommend corrective and preventive actions.• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).• A valid UAE driving licence and own vehicle are mandatory.• Arabic language skills are an added advantage.
