HSE Trainer – Railway ProjectJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced HSE Trainer for a railway project to deliver health, safety, and environmental training to project personnel, ensuring compliance with railway safety standards, project HSE requirements, and applicable regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct HSE induction, safety awareness sessions, and toolbox talks for employees, subcontractors, and site personnel.Deliver training on railway safety, hazard identification, risk assessment, Permit to Work (PTW), working at height, confined space entry, electrical safety, lifting operations, and emergency response.Develop and update HSE training materials, presentations, and assessment tools.Conduct competency assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.Maintain training records, attendance sheets, and competency matrices.Coordinate emergency drills, safety campaigns, and refresher training sessions.Ensure compliance with project HSE procedures, railway safety requirements, and applicable local regulations.Identify training gaps and recommend corrective actions to improve safety awareness and performance.RequirementsBachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline.NEBOSH IGC certification is required; IOSH and other relevant HSE certifications are an advantage.Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE, including experience in delivering safety training.Previous experience in railway, metro, or infrastructure projects is mandatory.Strong knowledge of railway construction safety, risk assessment, PTW systems, and emergency preparedness.Train-the-Trainer certification is preferred.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Candidates currently based in the UAE and available to join immediately are preferred.
