HSE Trainer

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced HSE Trainer to deliver health, safety, and environmental training programs for personnel working on a high-rise building construction project. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring workforce competency, promoting a strong safety culture, and maintaining compliance with project and legal HSE requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct HSE induction training for new employees, subcontractors, and visitors.Deliver training on Work at Height, Scaffolding, Lifting Operations, Tower Crane Safety, Excavation Safety, Fire Safety, PPE, and Emergency Response.Organize and conduct toolbox talks, safety campaigns, and awareness programs.Assess worker competency through written and practical evaluations.Develop training materials, presentations, and assessment tools.Maintain training records, attendance logs, and certification databases.Identify training needs through site inspections, audits, and incident investigations.Support emergency drills, evacuation exercises, and safety initiatives.Ensure compliance with company, client, and regulatory HSE requirements.Coordinate with project teams and subcontractors to ensure all mandatory training requirements are met.Promote continuous improvement and a positive safety culture across the project.RequirementsBachelor's Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory.OSHA certification and Train-the-Trainer certification are preferred.Minimum 10 of experience as an HSE Trainer.Proven experience on high-rise building, tower, or mega construction projects.Strong presentation, communication, and reporting skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
