Job Title: HSEQ SpecialistPosition SummaryWe are looking for an experienced HSEQ Specialist to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on, site-facing role owning day to day health, safety and environmental performance across Positive Zero's operating sites. The role is ideal for an HSE professional who enjoys working independently across a distributed generation and O&M portfolio, partnering closely with stakeholders across the business and taking ownership of HSE matters from start to finish while helping support the company's continued growth.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the development and upkeep of PZ's HSE policies, standards and risk assessment framework, keeping them current with applicable legislationConduct site inspections and risk assessments, and lead incident investigations to determine root cause and agree corrective actionsDesign and deliver HSEQ training and awareness sessions for site and project teamsPrepare monthly safety committee updates and HSE KPI reporting for managementReview project designs and method statements with Engineering to embed HSE requirements ahead of implementationSupport Procurement in evaluating suppliers and contractors for HSE risk, and Business Development in addressing client HSE requirements during proposalsManage the HSE budget assigned to the role and hold stop work authority over unsafe acts or conditionsRequirements5 to 7 years' HSE experience, ideally within solar, renewables, construction or utilitiesExperience leading incident investigations, risk assessments and site HSE auditsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical or related) or an equivalent HSE qualificationNEBOSH International General Certificate (essential)Grad IOSH, working toward Chartered status, or an equivalent H&S leadership diploma (advantageous)Comfortable operating independently across multiple sites and projects with limited day to day supervisionStrong report writing and policy drafting skills; proficient in MS Office and working knowledge of safety management systemsClear, confident communicator, able to explain HSE requirements to technical and non-technical stakeholders alikeAdditional languages (e.g. Hindi/Urdu) advantageous for site level communication with the wider workforce*Only relevant candidates will be contacted at this time.
