قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجPosition Overview:The HSEQ Technical Trainer is responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating technical Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) training programmes to ensure employees achieve and maintain the required levels of competence in accordance with company standards, legal requirements, and industry best practices. The role supports operational excellence by providing high-quality training, competency assessments, and technical guidance across a wide range of HSEQ disciplines, including railway safety, permit to work, lifting operations, manual handling, incident investigation, fire safety, and environmental management. The trainer will contribute to the continuous improvement of the Competency Management System by developing training materials, maintaining training records, and promoting a strong safety culture throughout the organization while ensuring compliance with ISO management systems and regulatory requirements.Roles and Responsibility:Analyze, design, develop, and deliver HSEQ training and competence assessments, technical training, and mandatory Health and Safety training to new starters and refresher training as required to current staff, always ensuring safe and effective operations.Ensure compliance with Etihad Rail’s internal quality assurance standards for the Training Department.Facilitate design, develop and deliver training programs loading and unloading, lifting operation, crane operation including theory and practicalFacilitate training programs covering Risk management Fire Safety, Accident Investigation, Working at Height, Permit to Work (PTW), and other key HSEQ topics.Ensure that all identified staff achieve and maintain the required levels of training and competence as per current guidelines and project needs.Maintain and update training and competence records within the Competence Management System.Deliver a high-quality learning experience for all trainees by implementing best practices in teaching, learning, and assessment, promoting differentiation, standardization, and continuity.Regularly review and update competencies and training materials to ensure relevance and compliance with industry and regulatory standards.Develop and produce training course materials, ensuring alignment with international and company-specific requirements.Deliver accredited vocational and safety courses in line with qualifications and skill set.Support the review and updating of training and assessment-related policies.Work collaboratively with different departments to identify training needs and implement effective training solutions.Desirable qualifications, skills and experienceAcademic Qualifications: NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and SafetyA bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or relevant discipline.Professional Qualifications:Recognized training qualification (e.g., C&G, PTLLS, TAQA, A1, Certificate of Education).Assessor qualification.Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) qualification.Rigging and Lifting OperationsManual Lifting MachinesLift Planning and Lift SupervisionISO 45001, 14001, 9001 lead auditorExperience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in an HSEQ training role.Strong knowledge of Fire Safety, Accident Investigation, Working at Height, and Permit to Work (PTW).Previous experience in railway operations and maintenance is highly desirable.Experience in infrastructure, freight, or mobility railway operations is preferred.Experience with SAP, Oracle is preferred.Other Skills: Excellent English language proficiency is essential.Arabic language proficiency is preferred.A full, valid driving licence is required.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and take initiative.Strong self-management and organizational skills.Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural environment.
