Job DescriptionJob Overview:The HSES Tech provides solutions to problems in conjunction with HSE Advisors / Supervisors and will evaluate and select solutions from established HSES Management Systems.ResponsibilitiesKey Tasks and Responsibilities:Conversant with local and international HSES laws, codes, and regulationsServe as a resource to develop and administer a proactive prevention program for incidents Provide technical assistance to ensure compliance with applicable international, federal, state, and company environmental, safety, and health regulationsImplement the HSES activity plan and ensure activities are completed as scheduledAssist with incident investigations and compilation of reportsAssist with medical evacuations and respond to emergencies as requiredRegularly inspect the work areas to identify unsafe acts or conditionsConduct compliance evaluations of equipment, structures, and work in progress to ensure that regulatory environmental, safety, and health standards of the company and all applicable codes are followedObserve work groups and provide guidance and coaching to personnel to perform work safelyAssist in the delivery and observation of toolbox talks and Job Safety Analyses (JSA’s)Observe the condition of plant and equipment and report deficienciesQualificationsEssential Qualifications and Education:Diploma or equivalent certification2 to 3 years of relevant experienceMaintain key competencies associated with the HSES functionHave experience with technical activities, including on and offshore operationsProficient in Microsoft OfficeGood oral and written communication skillsExposure to incident investigation and analysis software preferredAbility to work independently with minimal guidanceAbility to apply knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and nonstandard situationsAbility to use best practices and knowledge of internal/external business issues to improve products or services in own disciplineProven experience promoting teamwork, coaching, and guiding othersAbout UsOur ingenuity fuels daily life.
