HSSE Safety Officer

Are you an experienced safety professional looking to make an impact in the fast-paced aviation technology sector?UTech Services is expanding, and we are currently looking for an experienced HSSE Safety Officer to join our team in Dubai and support a key aviation project.As a UAE-based aviation technology company specializing in ATM, unmanned systems, and airport integration, we work closely with airports, ANSPs, and government entities across the GCC. This is an in-house position with excellent opportunities for long-term growth and involvement in diverse aviation projects as our portfolio expands.

Key Responsibilities

Documentation & Compliance: Develop, maintain, and update the project HSSE Plan, Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and Permit to Work procedures.Safety Operations: Conduct regular site inspections, internal audits, safety inductions, and daily toolbox talks.Incident Management: Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, ensuring robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented.Training & Awareness: Deliver effective safety training and support emergency response planning, drills, and first-aid arrangements.Stakeholder & Subcontractor Coordination: Monitor subcontractor HSSE performance, KPIs, worker welfare, and collaborate seamlessly with internal teams and external stakeholders.Qualifications & Requirements:Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of dedicated HSE/HSSE experience.Certifications: Recognized HSE/HSSE certification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent).Industry Background: Previous experience in aviation, airports, or major infrastructure projects is strongly preferred (DAR/DAEP experience is a distinct advantage).Education: Diploma, Bachelor’s degree, or a relevant technical qualification.Skills: Strong understanding of risk control, site safety documentation, audit processes, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.Communication: Excellent written and spoken English, paired with strong independent coordination skills.Mobility: UAE driving licence preferred (or ability to obtain one).Why Join UTech Services?Be at the cutting edge of aviation technology and airport integration in the GCC.In-house career stability with opportunities to grow across future projects.A collaborative and safety-first company culture.
