HR & Administration OfficerLocation: Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, UAEIndustry: Hospitality / Entertainment / F&BSalary: AED 7,500 per monthPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced HR & Administration Officer to support the day-to-day HR and administrative operations of a fast-paced hospitality and entertainment business in Dubai.A major focus of this role will be the end-to-end processing, tracking, and approval of UAE employment visas, work permits, and related government documentation.With a significant number of new employees expected to join over the coming months, the successful candidate must be confident managing multiple visa and work permit applications simultaneously and following each application through to final approval.This is a hands-on position requiring strong knowledge of UAE HR practices, MOHRE procedures, immigration requirements, and government portals.Key ResponsibilitiesVisa, Work Permit & PRO AdministrationTake ownership of the complete UAE employment visa and work permit process, from initial application through final approval.Process and coordinate new employment visas, work permits, status changes, renewals, cancellations, and transfers.Track all applications closely and proactively follow up on pending approvals, missing documentation, delays, additional requirements, or rejected applications.Ensure all employee documentation is complete and accurate before submission to minimize processing delays.Coordinate all stages of the employee immigration process, including applicable:Entry permitsStatus changesMedical testingEmirates ID processingResidency requirementsFinal approvalsLiaise with MOHRE, immigration authorities, government service centers, PRO representatives, and other relevant UAE authorities.Maintain an accurate visa tracker showing application status, deadlines, outstanding requirements, approvals, renewals, and cancellations.Manage a high volume of upcoming visa and work permit applications while ensuring all deadlines are met.Escalate visa issues, approval delays, or government processing concerns to management when required.Ensure all employees are legally compliant and properly documented before commencement of work.HR & AdministrationManage the day-to-day HR and administrative operations of the company.Coordinate the complete employee lifecycle, including recruitment support, onboarding, probation, transfers, promotions, and offboarding.Prepare and maintain employment contracts, personnel files, HR documentation, and employee records.Coordinate attendance, leave records, payroll information, and employee benefits.Support probation reviews and performance management processes.Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary matters in accordance with company policy and UAE Labour Law.Ensure HR processes remain compliant with UAE Labour Law and MOHRE requirements.Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate employee data.Support the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and internal processes.Assist management with employee engagement and retention initiatives.Provide professional and confidential HR support to employees and management.Support general office administration and other HR-related operational requirements as needed.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.Minimum 3 years of relevant HR and Administration experience in the UAE.Previous experience within hospitality, F&B, hotels, nightlife, entertainment, or a similarly fast-paced operation is highly preferred.Strong working knowledge of UAE Labour Law, MOHRE requirements, employment visas, work permits, and immigration processes.Hands-on experience using relevant UAE government systems and portals.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR management systems.Essential RequirementsProven hands-on experience independently processing UAE employment visas and work permits from application through final approval.Experience managing multiple visa and work permit applications simultaneously.Strong understanding of UAE employee onboarding documentation and government approval requirements.Ability to identify and resolve visa application issues, missing documentation, processing delays, and government requirements.Strong organizational and follow-up skills.Excellent attention to detail, particularly when handling government documentation and employee records.Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Professional, approachable, and able to maintain strict confidentiality.Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with management and other
