We are seeking a highly capable Legal, HR & Government Relations Manager to support a privateschool group in Jeddah across legal affairs, HR operations, employee relations, government relations,regulatory compliance, and official representation before relevant authorities.The ideal candidate must be a licensed lawyer with strong practical experience in Saudi labor law,government platforms, employee contract management, recruitment, government relations, andlegal/administrative execution. This role requires a hands-on professional who can independentlymanage sensitive legal and HR matters, execute government transactions efficiently, and representthe school professionally before official authorities.

Key Responsibilities

Legal Affairs & Court RepresentationRepresent the company/school before judicial and quasi-judicial authoritiesCoordinate with external law firms and follow up on legal mattersProvide legal guidance on labor, employment, regulatory, and operational mattersDraft and review legal notices, warnings, terminations, and settlementsEnsure compliance with Saudi laws and regulations Government Relations & Official PlatformsManage transactions through Qiwa, MHRSD, Jawazat, GOSI, MOE, MISA, and other government platformsExecute government services, renewals, registrations, and approvalsRepresent the school before the Ministry of Education and relevant authoritiesEnsure timely completion of government and compliance requirements Employment Contracts & Employee AffairsDraft, issue, renew, amend, and terminate employment contractsUpdate contracts on government systems and official platformsManage employee contractual matters and documentationHandle employee requests and employment status mattersManage onboarding and offboarding procedures Recruitment, Saudization & SponsorshipSupport recruitment and talent acquisition with school leadershipHandle recruitment documentation and new-hire formalitiesManage Saudization, sponsorship transfers, work permits, Iqama renewals, and exit/re-entry visasFollow up on sponsorship matters and regulatory complianceManage final settlements, clearances, and End-of-Service Benefits Performance, Attendance & Disciplinary ProcessesSupport performance reviews and related documentationMonitor attendance, absence, lateness, and HR compliancePrepare warnings, disciplinary notices, and formal employee communicationsEnsure disciplinary processes comply with Saudi labor law and company policies Payroll, Medical Insurance & Administrative Follow-UpPrepare and coordinate payroll inputs and salary runsEnsure accurate and updated payroll dataManage medical insurance additions, deletions, renewals, and updatesManage vehicle and other company insurance policiesMaintain confidential employee, contract, insurance, legal, and HR recordsRequirementsRequired QualificationsMust be a licensed lawyer in Saudi ArabiaStrong knowledge of Saudi Labor Law, employment regulations, government compliance and HR-related legal proceduresProven experience with Qiwa, MHRSD/Labor Office, Jawazat, GOSI, Ministry of Education, and Ministry of Investment platformsPrevious experience in legal affairs, HR operations, government relations, and employment contract managementStrong experience in drafting and reviewing employment contracts, legal notices, warning letters, termination documents, and formal employee communicationsAbility to represent the company professionally before courts, government authorities, and official bodiesExcellent Arabic drafting and communication skillsGood English communication skills preferredExperience in the education or private school sector is an advantageRequired Skills & CompetenciesStrong legal and regulatory judgmentHigh level of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalismExcellent organization, prioritization, and time managementStrong follow-up skills and ability to meet deadlinesPractical problem-solving and business judgmentAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionFirm and professional employee relations managementAbility to handle sensitive legal, HR, and government matters professionallyStrong execution and ownership mindset, with the ability to take matters from advice through completionBenefitsCompetitive salary and benefits packageMedical insurance, as per company policyAnnual leave and flight ticket (Expat Employees)Professional development and career growth opportunitiesSupportive, multicultural international school environment
