Location- LondonSalary- up to £75k + benefitsContract- Permanent Hybrid As an HR Business Partner you’ll be the primary advisor for the UK and France, partnering with senior leaders, Strategic Business Partners, Legal and Centres of Excellence (COEs).You’ll provide expert, pragmatic advice on complex employee relations, organisational change, workforce risk, consultation requirements and local employment law. As the local subject matter expert, you’ll translate global people strategies into effective, locally relevant solutions while balancing employee experience, compliance and business needs.The day-to-dayStrategic Partnership & AdvisoryAdvise managers and senior leaders on complex people matters, employee relations and workforce risks.Partner with Strategic Business Partners to provide local expertise and risk-based recommendations.Identify trends and emerging employee relations and workforce risks.Employee Relations & RiskAct as the escalation point for complex employee relations matters.Independently manage investigations, grievances, disciplinary processes, PIPs, dismissals, restructures and consultations.Advise on sensitive matters involving discrimination, accommodations, senior employees and other elevated risks.Employment Law & Local ExpertiseProvide expert guidance on UK and French employment law, employee relations and consultation requirements.Monitor legislative developments and advise on their business impact.Employee Representatives & ConsultationLead complex consultations with works councils, unions, employee forums and other representative bodies.Advise leaders on consultation strategy, stakeholder management and risk mitigation.Organisational Change & Workforce InitiativesAdvise on the local implications and risks of organisational change, restructures and workforce initiatives.Lead local execution of workforce and organisational change programmes.Talent & LeadershipSupport talent reviews, succession planning and calibration with local market and employee relations insight.Coach senior leaders on complex employee and organisational matters.Scope, impact & influenceOperate with a high degree of autonomy on complex, high-risk and ambiguous matters.Exercise sound judgment to balance employee experience, legal requirements and business needs.Influence senior stakeholders through expertise, coaching and credible challenge.Represent PB&C in leadership forums and provide guidance on complex matters.Mentor less experienced Solutions Partners and share knowledge across PB&C.What you'll needSignificant HR Business Partnering and Employee Relations experience supporting UK and French employee populations.Strong knowledge of UK and French employment law, employee relations and consultation requirements.Proven experience independently managing complex investigations, grievances, disciplinaries, dismissals, organisational change and consultations.Experience working with French Works Councils (CSE), UK Employee Forums, unions or other employee representative bodies.Professional fluency in English and French, written and spoken.Strong ability to advise and influence senior leaders on complex people matters and organisational risk.Excellent judgment, stakeholder management, coaching and problem-solving skills.Experience using workforce insights and data to inform decisions.
