Human Resources Director

The Human Resources Director owns the people agenda in full. The role exists to build a people function that operates on its own: one that sets the standard, holds it, and resolves the matters that today reach ownership and senior leadership. The role is accountable across the talent lifecycle, from attracting and developing talent to managing performance and retaining the people the business needs to operate today and to scale.S/he sets the people standards and builds the team and systems to deliver them. S/he is the single point of accountability for people. Hiring, discipline, performance, and day to day employee matters are owned and resolved by the HR Head and the HR team, taking routine issues off the leadership agenda. Success is a function that runs independently and to standard.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Recruitment and Talent AcquisitionBuild the Company's recruitment capability so Harlan consistently attracts, selects, and develops high-quality talent across all levels of the organization.2. Employee Relations, Governance, and Labor ManagementEstablish the governance, standards, and decision-making framework for employee relations so people matters are managed consistently, fairly, and without routine escalation to senior leadership.3. Performance Management and Organizational AccountabilityDesign and institutionalize the Company's performance management system so accountability becomes part of how the organization operates.4. Leadership Development, Culture, and Brand StandardsBuild the leadership capability and people systems that sustain Harlan's culture, service standards, and long-term organizational growth.5. Total Rewards and Organization DesignDesign the Company's compensation philosophy and organization structure to attract, retain, and develop high-performing talent.6.
