Now we're looking for an experienced HR Generalist to help lead that effort.The Opportunity This is a hands-on role for an HR professional who does their best work on the production floor. You'll be the primary HR and safety partner for our hourly workforce, front-line supervisors, and plant leadership. You'll combine core HR responsibilities with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) support. If you thrive on solving real problems, building trust across shifts, and strengthening a safety-first culture, this role is for you.What You'll DoServe as the go-to HR resource for employees and supervisors across all shiftsConduct thorough, objective workplace investigations and document findings clearlyCoach supervisors on performance management, attendance, corrective action, and documentationSupport OSHA compliance, including 300/300A/301 recordkeeping, inspections, and safety documentationTake part in incident investigations, identify contributing factors, and drive corrective actions to completionLead safety training, new-hire safety orientation, and ongoing EHS initiativesManage injury reporting, workers' compensation claims, and return-to-work programsOwn recruiting and onboarding for production and support rolesHandle HRIS transactions, benefits support, FMLA/ADA leave administration, and personnel recordsEnsure compliance with federal and North Carolina employment lawsWhat You Bring5+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in an HR Generalist or equivalent roleBachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field, OR an active SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certificationHands-on EHS experience in manufacturing and working knowledge of OSHA requirementsExperience with OSHA recordkeeping, incident investigations, and safety trainingWorkers' compensation and return-to-work experienceStrong employee relations skills: investigations, coaching, corrective action, and conflict resolutionA proven ability to connect with hourly employees and front-line supervisorsExcellent judgment, documentation, and communication skillsDiscretion in handling confidential informationComfort maintaining a visible presence on the manufacturing floorProficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS/payroll systemsBonus PointsOSHA 10 or 30-hour certificationBilingual in English and SpanishWhy Boaters World ManufacturingCompetitive salaryMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and paid holidaysA role with real visibility and impact on our people and our safety cultureIf you're ready to make a difference where it matters most, on the floor and with our people, we'd love to hear from you.Boaters World Manufacturing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
