Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob:To provide administrative and coordination support to the HR Team across Porsche Cars Great Britain Ltd (PCGB), Porsche Retail Group Ltd (PRG) and Porsche Financial Services Great Britain Ltd (PFS). The role works closely with the HR Coordinator and wider HR team to deliver an efficient HR service, respond to employee queries and support key people processes throughout the employee lifecycle.This is a Placement Year position for a candidate currently studying an undergraduate degree at university, seeking a placement for their third year. The role will commence in August 2027.
Responsibilities
HR Administration & Employee SupportProvide day-to-day administrative support to the HR Team across all Porsche Group companies in the UKAct as a first point of contact for HR queries, responding to routine employee and manager enquiries or escalating where appropriateRespond to and resolve allocated HR queries received via the HR team inbox, providing timely and professional responses. Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems and databasesAssist with the administration and coordination of the Group's Health Surveillance Programme, including scheduling assessments, maintaining documentation and supporting employee communicationsDraft routine correspondence, reports and internal HR communicationsOrganise HR Team meetings, take notes and maintain accurate records of actions and decisionsSupport HR projects and initiatives as requiredRecruitment & Onboarding SupportSupport the administration of recruitment activities across PCGB, PRG and PPFS. Support the placement of job advertisements across internal and external recruitment channels. Support the coordination of interviews and assessment activities, including arranging candidate communications and scheduling. Prepare recruitment documentation and maintain candidate records. Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing documentation and coordinating activitiesConduct pre-employment screening, right to work checks and background vetting processesSupport the preparation of employment contracts, offer letters and other employee correspondenceSupport new joiner induction activities and orientation programmes. Assist with the preparation and delivery of Welcome Days and other onboarding eventsHR Intern Programme SupportSupport the coordination of the Porsche Intern Programme and intern-related activitiesHelp coordinate intern onboarding, offboarding and feedback processesWork collaboratively with interns across the business to promote engagement and programme activitiesParticipate Company initiatives that raise awareness and funds for the Company's chosen charity partnerAssist with the preparation and maintenance of internship documentation, reports and handbooksContribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the HR functionRequirementsMinimum QualificationsMinimum of 3 A-Levels at Grade B or aboveStudying HR, Business Administration, Psychology or related undergraduate degreeAbility to work quickly, diligently and efficiently with a high level of attention to detailAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationPositive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work independently and in a team environmentFluent in spoken and written EnglishPreferred QualificationsBasic understanding of HR practices and employment lawGood IT literacy and the ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)Data management and analytical skillsExperience of working within a customer service roleFull Driving LicenseWillingness to travel, on occasions, to locations across South-East England to visit our 7 Porsche Retail Group Porsche Centre, Distribution Centre and Porsche Experience CentreBenefitsPorsche is committed to promote a culture that champions diversity and equal opportunities.
