We help individuals, families and businesses restore their homes, belongings, and restore a sense of normalcy through high-quality service and insurance support.We are seeking a hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead all human resources functions in our growing, fast-paced operation.Position SummaryReporting to ownership, the HR Manager oversees all HR functions across field, production, and office teams. This role blends strategic planning with day-to-day execution in a production-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & StaffingManage full-cycle hiring and onboardingPartner with leadership on workforce planning and headcountTrack hiring metrics and improve recruitment strategiesEmployee Relations & PerformanceHandle employee concerns, investigations, and conflict resolutionCoach supervisors on performance management and accountabilityLead disciplinary processes and promote a professional team cultureCompliance & Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local labor lawsManage leaves (FMLA, NYPFL, ADA), workers’ comp, and safety programsMaintain audit-ready records, I-9s, and training complianceTraining & DevelopmentCoordinate onboarding and ongoing trainingIdentify skill gaps and support cross-training initiativesBusiness Growth & Scaling SupportHelp support company growth through effective workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, and retention strategies.Build scalable HR processes that can support growth across field, production, sales, and office teams.Identify gaps in staffing, training, accountability, and communication as the company expands.Develop consistent systems for hiring, onboarding, performance management, documentation, and employee development.Support the creation of career paths and internal growth opportunities to improve retention.Payroll, Benefits & ReportingSupport payroll and benefits administrationManage benefits programs and assist with open enrollmentTrack and report HR metrics (headcount, turnover, compliance)Operations SupportMaintain a visible presence on the production floorAddress scheduling, attendance, and workforce challengesAlign staffing with operational needsQualificationsBachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)5+ years of HR experience, ideally in production, logistics, or service environmentsStrong knowledge of labor laws and complianceExperience managing hourly workforcesHR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) preferredBilingual - fluent in both Spanish and EnglishWhat Success Looks LikeBrings structure and consistency to HR processesImproves hiring, onboarding, and retentionBalances employee advocacy with accountabilityBuilds trust with frontline teams while supporting business goalsWork Style & Culture FitHands-on, visible, and proactiveDirect communicator with strong problem-solving skillsThrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentValues accountability, low drama, and ownershipCompensation and Total Rewards- Base Annual Salary Range: $100,000 to $130,000 Individual annual salary will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs.- Comprehensive Benefits- Paid Time Off- Direct exposure to executive leadership and strategic business initiatives Renewal of Greater NYC does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
