The organization is known for its reputation, reliability, and strong relationships across the agricultural supply chain, offering team members a stable and growth-oriented work environment.Role Description: The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Brawley, California. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, performance management, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. The Human Resources Manager will manage recruitment and onboarding, support workforce planning, and coordinate training and development initiatives. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining HR policies and procedures, managing benefits and compensation processes, and supporting managers with coaching, documentation, and organizational development. The role collaborates with leadership to promote a positive, safe, and inclusive workplace culture aligned with company values and operational goals.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in core HR functions such as employee relations, performance management, and policy administration.Previous experience in agriculture, farming, or a related field is strong preferred; familiarity with the unique workforce needs, seasonality, and culture of an agricultural operation is a plus. Knowledge of HR compliance, including employment law, workplace safety standards, and regulatory reporting requirements. Skills in recruitment, talent acquisition, onboarding, and workforce planning for a diverse range of roles.Ability to develop and deliver training, support professional development programs, and facilitate change management initiatives.Strong communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.Experience with ADP or comparable HRIS platforms for payroll, benefits administration, and employee records management.Proven organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.Prior HR leadership or generalist experience, preferably in manufacturing, agriculture, logistics, or related industries.Ability to work on-site in Brawley, California and collaborate effectively with remote and multi-location teams.
