Employment Type: Full-TimePosition OverviewWe are looking for an experienced and responsible HR Manager to manage the complete Human Resources function of the organization.

The HR Manager will be responsible for end-to-end HR operations, recruitment, employee management, payroll coordination, performance management, employee relations, HR policies, and labour-law compliance.The ideal candidate must have strong practical experience in HR management and a thorough working knowledge of Nepalese Labour Law and related employment regulations. The candidate should be capable of independently handling day-to-day HR matters, advising management, resolving employee issues, and ensuring that all HR practices are properly implemented and documented.Key Responsibilities1. Complete HR ManagementManage and supervise the overall HR function of the organization.Develop, implement, and improve HR policies, procedures, systems, and practices.Handle the complete employee lifecycle from recruitment to separation.Maintain accurate, updated, and confidential employee records.Prepare HR reports, manpower reports, attendance reports, and other management reports.Ensure smooth and professional HR operations across all departments.2. Recruitment & SelectionHandle end-to-end recruitment, including manpower planning, job descriptions, sourcing, screening, interviews, selection, and onboarding.Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements.Source candidates through job portals, social media, recruitment agencies, professional networks, and other channels.Conduct initial and final interviews where required.Manage salary negotiations, employment offers, appointment letters, and joining formalities.Ensure proper employee onboarding and orientation.3. Nepalese Labour Law & Legal ComplianceEnsure HR policies and practices comply with Nepalese Labour Law and applicable employment regulations.Maintain practical working knowledge of the Labour Act, 2074 (2017), Labour Rules, 2075 (2018), and other applicable employment requirements.Advise management regarding employment contracts, working hours, leave, overtime, remuneration, disciplinary actions, termination, resignation, and other employee matters.Ensure employment contracts and HR documentation are properly prepared and maintained.Monitor changes in labour-related laws and recommend necessary changes to company policies.Handle labour-related compliance requirements, inspections, notices, and documentation.Coordinate with relevant authorities, legal advisors, and external consultants when required.4. Attendance, Leave & PayrollManage and monitor employee attendance, leave, late-coming, overtime, and absenteeism.Verify monthly attendance and payroll information before submission to Accounts/Finance.Coordinate salary processing, deductions, allowances, incentives, and other employee benefits.Maintain accurate payroll-related employee records.Handle employee queries related to salary, leave, attendance, deductions, and benefits.Ensure payroll-related HR processes comply with company policy and applicable legal requirements.5. Employee Relations & Grievance HandlingHandle employee complaints, grievances, conflicts, and workplace issues professionally.Maintain positive relationships between employees and management.Investigate employee complaints and recommend appropriate actions.Handle disciplinary issues, warning letters, show-cause notices, and other HR actions in accordance with company policy and applicable law.Promote a professional, respectful, and productive workplace environment.Act as a bridge between management and employees.6. Performance ManagementDevelop and manage employee performance appraisal systems.Coordinate probation evaluations, employee confirmations, promotions, transfers, and salary reviews.Work with department heads to establish employee KPIs and performance standards.Monitor employee performance and identify performance gaps.Develop and implement performance improvement plans when required.7. HR Policies & ProceduresDevelop, review, and implement company HR policies and procedures.Ensure employees understand company rules, regulations, code of conduct, and HR policies.Regularly review HR policies to ensure they remain practical and compliant with applicable labour requirements.Implement proper procedures for recruitment, attendance, leave, disciplinary action, promotion, transfer, resignation, termination, and employee benefits.8. Training & Employee DevelopmentIdentify employee training and development requirements.Prepare annual training and development plans.Coordinate internal and external training programs.Evaluate employee development needs and recommend appropriate programs.Support career development and succession planning.9. Employee Discipline & Workplace ConductEnsure proper implementation of company rules and workplace discipline.Monitor employee conduct and address violations appropriately.Maintain proper documentation of disciplinary cases.Ensure disciplinary procedures are fair, consistent, and compliant with applicable labour requirements.Promote professional behaviour and workplace ethics.10. Employee Separation & Final SettlementManage resignation, termination, retirement, and other employee separation processes.Conduct exit interviews and document employee feedback.Coordinate clearance and handover procedures.Coordinate employee final settlement with Finance/Accounts.Ensure all separation documentation is properly completed and maintained.11. Management SupportProvide HR advice and recommendations to senior management.Prepare HR-related reports and provide workforce information for management decision-making.Support manpower planning and organizational development.Assist management in resolving employee and workplace issues.Maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee and company information.Educational QualificationBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.Required ExperienceMinimum 5–7 years of proven practical experience in Human Resources, preferably with experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR professional.Strong hands-on experience in complete HR operations.Proven experience in Nepalese Labour Law and HR compliance.Experience in recruitment, payroll coordination, employee relations, performance management, disciplinary procedures, and HR policy implementation.Experience dealing directly with management and employees.Candidates with experience independently managing the HR department will be preferred.Required SkillsStrong practical knowledge of Nepalese Labour LawExcellent HR management and people-management skillsStrong recruitment and interviewing skillsGood knowledge of payroll and attendance managementExcellent employee-relations and conflict-resolution skillsStrong knowledge of HR policies and proceduresExcellent communication and negotiation skillsStrong decision-making and problem-solving abilityGood knowledge of MS Office and HR software/HRISStrong documentation and reporting skillsHigh level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalismAbility to handle sensitive employee matters independently
