The role requires a practical approach, strong leadership and the ability to build consistent HR practices while supporting employees and managers.Key Responsibilities* Lead and develop the HR team, establishing clear responsibilities and service standards.* Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and approval processes across the group.* Manage recruitment, selection, onboarding and probation reviews.* Work with department heads to plan staffing requirements and support business growth.* Review organisational structures, job descriptions and reporting lines.* Handle employee concerns, grievances, investigations and disciplinary matters fairly and confidentially.* Coach managers on performance, attendance, teamwork and conflict resolution.* Oversee employee records, attendance, leave, benefits and medical insurance administration.* Coordinate accurate payroll inputs and final settlements with Finance.* Coordinate employment contracts, visas, work permits and renewals with the PRO.* Ensure compliance with applicable UAE employment requirements.* Implement performance reviews, training programmes and employee development plans.* Support internal promotions and succession planning for key positions.* Improve employee engagement and retention through feedback, recognition and practical action plans.* Manage Emiratisation recruitment, development, retention and reporting.* Improve HR systems and reporting while protecting confidential employee information.* Provide management with reports on staffing, recruitment, turnover, absenteeism and workforce costs.* Conduct regular visits to business operations to support employees and managers.Requirements* Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, including experience in an HR management role.* Proven UAE HR experience and strong knowledge of local employment practices.* Experience supporting multiple businesses or branches.* Retail experience strongly preferred; experience in perfumes, beauty, luxury retail or manufacturing is an advantage.* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.* Strong leadership, communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.* Experience managing an HR team and working directly with senior management.* Practical experience in employee relations, recruitment, performance management and Emiratisation.* Proficiency in HR systems, Microsoft Excel and management reporting.* Sound judgment, integrity and confidentiality.* Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.* CIPD, SHRM or an equivalent HR qualification is an advantage.
