HR MANAGER | CHM GROUPPort Moresby, Papua New GuineaTHE COMPANY CHM Group is one of Papua New Guinea’s longest-established and respected diversified companies, operating across five divisions: Retail, Commercial, Property, Music and Energy.As we continue to grow and strengthen our organisation, we are seeking an experienced and capable HR Manager to lead our Human Resources function and help shape the future of our people, systems and culture..THE OPPORTUNITY The HR Manager will lead the Human Resources function across CHM Group, supporting a diverse workforce across our different businesses and locations.Working closely with senior management, the HR Manager will be responsible for strengthening our people practices, developing HR systems and processes, supporting organisational growth and building a strong performance and workplace culture.This is a hands-on leadership role requiring someone who can balance HR leadership and continuous improvement with practical day-to-day execution.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning across the GroupManage employee relations, employment contracts and HR complianceLead performance management, staff development and training initiativesDevelop and strengthen HR policies, systems and processesOversee payroll processing and HR reporting in collaboration with FinanceDrive employee engagement, well-being and workplace culture initiativesAdvise senior management on people, performance and organisational mattersTHE CANDIDATEThe ideal candidate will possess:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related disciplineMinimum 8 years’ HR experience, including management or senior HR experienceProven experience managing a broad HR functionStrong communication, leadership and stakeholder-management skillsSound judgement, problem-solving ability and a proactive, hands-on approachExperience in a multi-site or diversified organisation would be highly regardedKnowledge of PNG employment legislation would be advantageous, but is not essentialWhy Join CHM Group?Join one of Papua New Guinea’s longest-established diversified business groupsLead the HR function across a diverse and growing organisationWork closely with senior leadership and influence the Group’s people strategyPlay a key role in strengthening HR capability, systems and workplace cultureIf you are an experienced HR professional looking for an opportunity to lead, build and make an impact within a growing organisation, we would like to hear from you.To apply, please send your CV to: recruit@chm.com.pg
