Dodi International School is committed to guiding each learner on a unique educational path, fostering conviction, creativity and compassion so they can positively impact the world.Role Description The Humanities Teacher IGCSE/A-LEVEL will deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons in subjects such as Geography and related humanities disciplines to middle and secondary school learners. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and teaching lessons, assessing student learning, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate academic records.The role also involves fostering critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and global awareness in alignment with the school’s mission and Cambridge curriculum requirements. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Dodi International School in the Greater Accra Region, Ghana.QualificationsAbility to design and implement effective Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development aligned with IGCSE and A-LEVEL standards.Experience teaching Humanities subjects, preferably Geography/History and related areas, at Middle School, IGCSE and A-LEVEL standards.Strong Communication skills for clear instruction, feedback, and collaboration with learners, families, and colleagues.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Geography, History, Social Studies, or a related humanities field; teaching certification or equivalent credentials preferred.Experience with Cambridge curricula or international school settings is an advantage.Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse school community and uphold inclusive, non-discriminatory practices.
