This role involves designing HVAC systems, preparing calculations and drawings, and selecting equipment for new construction and retrofit projects. The HVAC Engineer will review technical specifications, coordinate with project teams, and support installation, commissioning, and performance testing of HVAC systems. Daily tasks include diagnosing system issues, recommending corrective actions, overseeing maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety, energy efficiency, and regulatory requirements. The role also includes preparing documentation and reports, liaising with contractors and vendors, and supporting continuous optimization of building environmental conditions.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in HVAC Engineering and HVAC system fundamentals.Candidates should possess skills in HVAC Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for creating and reviewing technical drawings.Candidates should possess skills in HVAC system Maintenance & Repair, including troubleshooting and performance optimization.Relevant bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.Knowledge of local and international HVAC codes, standards, and safety regulations.Experience with load calculations, energy efficiency measures, and building management systems is beneficial.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site.Previous experience in HVAC projects within commercial, industrial, or residential environments in the Gulf region is an advantage.
