HVAC Engineer(Saudi)

The company provides services across planning, architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, and a full range of engineering disciplines, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and communication. ACEC is also active in construction management, instrumentation and control, and site supervision, supporting clients through all project phases. The firm has worked as both main and supplemental contractor for numerous in-kingdom clients, offering integrated engineering, design, and project management solutions.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site HVAC Engineer role based in Khafji, Saudi Arabia. The HVAC Engineer will design, review, and optimize heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for building and industrial projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and client requirements. Daily responsibilities include preparing HVAC drawings and specifications, performing load calculations, selecting equipment, and coordinating designs with other engineering disciplines. The role involves overseeing installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities, resolving technical issues, and supporting project teams with technical documentation and reports. The HVAC Engineer will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and contractors to deliver efficient, safe, and cost-effective HVAC solutions.Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in HVAC Engineering and HVAC Design for building and industrial projects.Strong practical knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment selection, and system performance.Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for preparing HVAC drawings and layouts.Experience in HVAC maintenance and repair, including troubleshooting and system optimization.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.Familiarity with relevant Saudi and international codes, standards, and safety regulations.Ability to interpret technical documents, prepare reports, and communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams.Previous experience with consultancy or project management environments in KSA is preferred.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Professional registration or membership in relevant engineering bodies is an advantage.
