As one of the largest companies in Umm Al Quwain, TMC Group offers opportunities to contribute to significant and complex construction developments.Role Description The HVAC MEP Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Umm al-Quwain, United Arab Emirates. The role involves designing, reviewing, and optimizing HVAC systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, in coordination with civil, architectural, and other MEP disciplines. Daily responsibilities include preparing and updating HVAC layouts and drawings, performing load calculations, selecting equipment, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The HVAC MEP Engineer will participate in site inspections, oversee installation and commissioning activities, troubleshoot system issues, and support maintenance and repair efforts. The role also includes collaborating with project managers, contractors, and clients, preparing technical reports, and contributing to cost estimates and project documentation.QualificationsStrong background in HVAC Engineering and general HVAC systems, including design principles, system selection, and performance analysis.Proficiency in HVAC Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating, reviewing, and updating technical drawings and schematics.Experience with HVAC Maintenance & Repair, including diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and optimization of existing systems.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline; advanced certifications in HVAC or MEP are an advantage.· At least 3-5 years of UAE experience with HVAC projects.Knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and safety regulations applicable to HVAC and MEP works.Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documents, and to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and quality-focused execution.Previous experience in construction or contracting environments in the Gulf region is beneficial; fluency in English is required, and additional languages are an asset.Responsibilities: · Design and oversee HVAC systems from concept to commissioning.· Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and equipment submittals.· Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with HVAC standards.· Coordinate with design and construction teams to ensure timely execution.· Provide expert technical guidance on HVAC system optimization.Benefits: to be discussed in personSalary: to be discussed in personEmail us at : recruitment@tmcuaq.comTMC Group is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or disability.
