HVAC SITE ENGINEERCompany: WAHA AIRLocation: Dubai, UAEEmployment Type: Full-TimeIndustry: HVAC / MEP ContractingJob DescriptionWAHA AIR is seeking an experienced and highly motivated HVAC Site Engineer to join our growing engineering and project execution team in Dubai.The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and managing HVAC installation activities at project sites, ensuring that all works are executed according to approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, project schedules, and safety requirements.The candidate must have strong practical experience in HVAC installation, site supervision, technical coordination, manpower management, material planning, testing, and commissioning.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and manage daily HVAC installation activities at project sites.Coordinate the installation of VRF/VRV Systems, DX Units, Chillers, FCUs, AHUs, FAHUs, Package Units, and Ventilation Systems.Supervise ductwork fabrication and installation, chilled water piping, refrigerant copper piping, insulation, condensate drainage, and HVAC equipment installation.Review and understand HVAC Shop Drawings, IFC Drawings, Technical Specifications, BOQs, and Material Submittals.Ensure that all site installations comply with approved drawings, project requirements, and applicable HVAC standards.Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other MEP teams.Conduct regular site inspections to monitor installation quality, work progress, and technical compliance.Plan daily activities, allocate manpower, and supervise technicians, installers, and subcontractors.Prepare daily and weekly site progress reports, including manpower, completed works, material requirements, and pending activities.Identify site-related technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions.Coordinate with the engineering team regarding drawing revisions, design changes, and site modifications.Monitor material availability and coordinate procurement requirements to avoid project delays.Ensure proper installation of duct supports, piping supports, equipment foundations, vibration isolators, and HVAC accessories.Supervise pressure testing, nitrogen leak testing, vacuuming, refrigerant charging, flushing, testing, and commissioning activities, as applicable to the system.Coordinate inspections and obtain necessary approvals from consultants and project representatives.Identify additional works, site variations, and changes in project scope and report them to management.Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.Support final inspections, snagging, project handover, and preparation of as-built documentation.Candidate RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HVAC site execution, installation, or MEP contracting.Previous UAE HVAC site experience is strongly preferred.Strong technical knowledge of VRF/VRV, DX, Chilled Water, FCU, AHU, FAHU, Chiller, and Ventilation Systems.Proven experience in HVAC site supervision, installation coordination, and project execution.Ability to read and interpret HVAC Shop Drawings, MEP Coordination Drawings, and Technical Specifications.Good knowledge of ductwork installation, chilled water piping, refrigerant piping, insulation, and drainage systems.Experience in testing, commissioning, pressure testing, and HVAC quality inspections.Strong understanding of ASHRAE, SMACNA, and applicable UAE HVAC standards.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office.Strong leadership, problem-solving, and site coordination skills.Ability to supervise technicians, labor teams, and subcontractors effectively.Good written and verbal communication skills in English.Ability to work independently and manage multiple site activities.Valid UAE Driving License is preferred.Preferred CandidateWe are particularly interested in candidates who have hands-on experience working with HVAC contracting companies in the UAE, especially in:Residential villas and luxury residential projectsCommercial buildings and officesHVAC retrofit and replacement projectsVRF/VRV installation projectsChilled water and chiller systemsVentilation and air distribution projectsHVAC testing, commissioning, and project handoverThe successful candidate should be capable of managing HVAC site activities independently, coordinating installation teams, resolving technical challenges, and ensuring successful project completion within the required timeline and quality standards.How to ApplyInterested candidates are invited to submit their updated CV.Email: info@wahaair.comSubject: HVAC Site Engineer – DubaiJoin WAHA AIR and be part of our growing HVAC engineering and contracting team in the UAE.
