HVAC Technician (Data Center Operations & Maintenance)

We are looking for a skilled HVAC Technician to support the operation and maintenance of critical cooling infrastructure within a Data Center environment. This role is essential to maintaining optimal temperature, airflow, and environmental conditions for mission-critical facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive, corrective, predictive, and condition-based maintenance on HVAC systems.Maintain and troubleshoot chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, AHUs, FCUs, cooling towers, pumps, and chilled water systems.Monitor cooling system performance and investigate operational alarms.Support maintenance shutdowns, equipment changeovers, and cooling restoration activities.Conduct testing, commissioning, hydraulic balancing, and performance verification activities.Review HVAC trends and ensure efficient thermal management of the facility.Prepare maintenance logs, inspection reports, and shift handover documentation.RequirementsDiploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.Minimum 8 years of Data Center Operations & Maintenance experience.Strong understanding of Data Center cooling systems, airflow management, and thermal optimization.Experience with HVAC diagnostics, commissioning, and troubleshooting.Familiarity with CAFM/CMMS systems.Preferred certifications: C-Net, Uptime Institute, EPI, ASHRAE, or equivalent.Willingness to work 24x7 rotational shifts.
