A&S engineers are trained and certified by international principals, enabling them to maintain and service a wide range of heavy machinery to high standards.Role Description The Hydraulic Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Karāchi. The individual in this role will inspect, diagnose, and repair hydraulic systems on heavy equipment and mobile machinery, ensuring safe and efficient operation. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing routine and preventive maintenance, conducting troubleshooting on hydraulic circuits, replacing or repairing components, and testing system performance after repairs. The technician will interpret technical manuals and hydraulic schematics, maintain accurate service records, and collaborate with other service team members to support customer operations. This role also involves occasional field visits to customer sites, adherence to safety procedures, and clear communication with supervisors and clients regarding work performed.Qualifications Strong skills in Hydraulic Systems and Mobile Hydraulics, including understanding of pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, and control systems.Hands-on experience with Heavy Equipment, particularly in diagnosing and resolving hydraulic-related performance issues.Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Maintenance & Repair of hydraulic circuits and components, using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment.Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices, basic mechanical and electrical principles, and safe workshop and field procedures.Relevant technical diploma or certification in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Technology (or equivalent practical experience).Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics, service manuals, and technical drawings.Good communication skills, customer-focused attitude, and ability to work both independently and as part of a service team.Prior experience in equipment dealerships, construction, mining, or industrial machinery service is an advantage.
