The company values safety, reliability, and professional development, working closely with employers to create stable, long-term opportunities for qualified talent.Role Description This full-time on-site Hydraulic Technician role is based in Kinross and focuses on the maintenance and repair of hydraulic systems on heavy and mobile equipment. Day-to-day responsibilities include inspecting hydraulic components, diagnosing faults, and performing troubleshooting to identify mechanical, hydraulic, and control issues. The technician will carry out scheduled and reactive maintenance, replace or repair parts, and ensure systems operate safely and efficiently. The role also involves reading technical manuals and schematics, completing service documentation, and collaborating with other technicians and site personnel to minimize equipment downtime. Adherence to safety procedures, quality standards, and site-specific policies is essential.Qualifications Strong technical skills in Hydraulic Systems and Mobile Hydraulics, with the ability to work on a range of industrial and heavy equipment.Experience in Troubleshooting and Maintenance & Repair, including diagnosing faults and performing corrective actions on hydraulic and mechanical components.Hands-on background with Heavy Equipment, including safe operation during testing, lifting, and handling of hydraulic assemblies.Relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship in mechanical, hydraulic, or industrial maintenance (or equivalent practical experience).Solid understanding of safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and safe workshop and site practices.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals.Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact professionally with supervisors, clients, and colleagues.Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.Current driver’s license and ability to work on-site in Kinross; willingness to work shifts or overtime as required.
