Hydraulic Technician

Key Job Responsibilities:Performs all the Hydraulic Technician duties of the division as established by the management.Acts as local/area contact for Repair Calls of equipment supplied through rental contracts to the area clients. Performs hydraulic system/component repairs following the maintenance manuals, hydraulic schematic drawings, air over hydraulic, solenoid operations, pilot operations, electronic circuitry operations, sensors, etc.Identifies defective parts, components and prepares parts order request.Performs hydraulic pressure testing, diagnosing problem using diagnostic tools, gauges prior to removal of components.Seeks assistance in difficult situations where understanding the fault is not clear to ensure improper and prolonged down time of equipment.Responds quickly and efficiently to all reported faults and ensures timely repairs to put unit back into operation with minimum down time.Completes record of all repairs performed and reports all repairs, maintenance and situation to the supervisor/foreman.Must respond to all Call-Out repairs including in any emergency situation at all times irrespective of the time of failure.Practice good housekeeping, including job clean-up and salvage of materials.Monitors and ensures quality of repairs performed for preventing any rework or failure.Develop peers with on job training to improve their skills and improve the quality of service provided by them.Conforms to ED safety standards, rules, practices as established through the loss prevention program.Competencies:Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficiently to understand circuit diagrams, parts information, service manuals, and complete job orders.Good knowledge of ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.Professional Skills:Must possess excellent knowledge of hydraulic circuit diagrams, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of hydraulic systems and components used in mobile cranes and heavy equipment fleets.Experience:3 years of relevant experience in Hydraulic Technician.

Qualifications

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or ITI Mechanical /Apprenticeship program crane and heavy/construction equipment hydraulic systems.
