Our growth industries include renewable energy, recycling, food & dairy and mining.The Role:We are seeking experienced Hydraulic / Fluid Power Service Technicians to join our Australian branches teams to install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Duties The key accountabilities include:Using testing equipment to diagnose, repair and maintain fluid power components and systemsOverhauling and repairing mechanical parts and fluid power equipmentDiagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance of machines, and overhauling and repairing mechanical parts and fluid power equipmentDiagnosing and recommending solutions to fluid power problemsIdentify and repair fluid power components such as pumps, cylinders, valves reservoirs, motors, accumulators, hose fittings and filtersRead and interpret hydraulic schematicsInstalling hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and linesEnsure all work is completed to health, safety, environment and quality requirementsDevelop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including site owner representativesQualifications, Skills & Experience:To be successful the following knowledge and experience is required:A trade qualification as a fitter or equivalent with hydraulic experienceExperience in hydraulic hose assemblies, tube manufacture and installationFormal fluid power post trade training or relevant industry experience would be highly regardedHave a high safety focusA current driver’s licenseBe able to pass pre-employment medicalBenefits:A family-based work cultureAttractive salary packageAbility to both work across multiple sites and a workshopOpportunity for career development
