Applicants join a trusted partner focused on technical excellence, innovative solutions, and strong alignment with client operational goals.Role Description The Hydrographic Surveyor will plan, execute, and process hydrographic and geophysical surveys to support marine, offshore, and energy projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and operating survey equipment, collecting and validating bathymetric and positioning data, and performing quality control checks to ensure data integrity. The role involves processing and interpreting survey results, producing charts, maps, and technical reports, and collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to define survey parameters and deliverables. The Hydrographic Surveyor will also contribute to risk assessments, compliance with industry standards, and continuous improvement of survey workflows and documentation. This is a full-time remote role, requiring effective communication, self-management, and coordination with field and office teams across different locations.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong hydrographic and geospatial skills, including experience with bathymetric surveying, positioning systems (GNSS), and marine navigation principles.Candidates should possess proficiency in survey software and data processing tools, such as hydrographic data processing suites, GIS platforms, and CAD or mapping applications.Candidates should possess practical skills in operating and integrating survey instrumentation, including multibeam and singlebeam echosounders, motion sensors, sound velocity profilers, and related equipment.Candidates should possess data analysis and reporting skills, including data validation, quality assurance, chart production, and preparation of clear technical documentation for internal and client use.Candidates should possess strong project coordination and communication skills, including remote collaboration, time management, and the ability to work safely and efficiently with multidisciplinary teams.Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Hydrography, Geomatics, Surveying, Oceanography, Marine Engineering, or a related field is preferred.Relevant industry certifications (e.g., IHO/FIG-recognized hydrographic qualifications) and experience in offshore, oil and gas, or renewable energy projects are beneficial.Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices, familiarity with marine HSE standards, and willingness to support
