With a service network covering all areas of Pakistan, including remote locations, A&S ensures maximum customer satisfaction through trained and certified engineers who maintain a wide range of machinery.Role Description The Hydraulic Mechanic is a full-time, on-site role based in the Karachi Division. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic systems and components on various types of equipment. Daily tasks include performing inspections, troubleshooting hydraulic faults, replacing or repairing hydraulic pumps, valves, hoses, cylinders, and related parts, and conducting preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. The Hydraulic Mechanic will interpret technical manuals and hydraulic schematics, prepare maintenance and repair reports, and coordinate with the service team to ensure timely and quality after-sales support. The role also involves adhering to safety standards, supporting field service operations when needed, and communicating effectively with supervisors and customers.Qualifications Strong hands-on experience in hydraulic system diagnosis, repair, and maintenance, including pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, and fittings.Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics, technical manuals, and service documentation.Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and measurement instruments relevant to hydraulic work.Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices, troubleshooting methods, and equipment reliability standards.Understanding of workplace safety procedures, PPE use, and safe handling of hydraulic fluids and pressure systems.Relevant technical diploma or certification in Mechanical, Industrial, or Automotive technology (hydraulics focus preferred).Prior experience in heavy equipment, construction machinery, material handling, or industrial machinery service is an advantage.Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team-oriented service environment, and willingness to travel to customer sites when required.Basic computer skills for maintaining service records, reports, and documentation.
