It will include overseeing calibration, testing, disconnection/reconnection and corrective maintenance of instrumentation systems across NSSS and BOP, in compliance with nuclear safety, industrial safety and regulatory requirements, to ensure overall plant performance objectives are achieved.Key Responsibilities:I&C Maintenance SupervisionDirectly supervise I&C maintenance teams to ensure all calibration and maintenance tasks are performed safely, on time, and to the required quality standard for plant operational readiness.Equipment ScopeRCS/RCP instrumentation: level transmitters, speed/vibration sensors, cold/hot leg transmitters, SG transmitters, RTDs, RSPT O-ringsCEDM IHA activities: DRCS, HJTC, RDP-A/B disconnection/reconnection, thermocouple checking, fuse replacementMain Steam and Main Feedwater: pressure/flow transmitter calibration, instrumentation for MSIV, MFIV, MSVs and GVsEDG instrumentation: full loop checking, transmitter calibration, speed/vibration sensors, process switches, PMTMG Set and Turbine/Generator: speed, vibration, RTD, thermocouple, expansion/eccentricity sensorsAOV instrumentation: positioners, solenoids, volume boosters, limit switches, LVDTs, position transmittersBOP and HVAC systems: all secondary systems instrumentation calibration and corrective maintenanceKey ResponsibilitiesAct as Head of I&C Maintenance in the absence of the Head (DOW basis)Ensure timely preparation, staging and procurement of calibration equipment and special toolsConduct pre- and post-job briefings; ensure compliance with plant maintenance standardsValidate and document equipment history reports after maintenance activitiesEnsure all M&TE is calibrated and traceable to NIST standards; submit calibration records to the CustomerOversee periodic and surveillance tests; provide technical support to other departmentsLead troubleshooting of I&C systems and componentsSupport hot functional, power ascension and performance tests as requiredOperational PlanningProvide input into Department systems and processes; develop work instructions and identify continuous improvement opportunities to increase productivity and operational efficiency.Health, Safety & SecurityComply with all company HSE policies, procedures and instructions. Adhere to all security and business continuity requirements.QualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Instrumentation & Control, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.Minimum Experience8 years in Nuclear/Power Plant industries, including in plant I&C maintenance (not commissioning).Technical SkillsProven experience calibrating pressure, flow, level and temperature transmitters (Rosemount, Foxboro or equivalent) using Druck, Fluke or equivalent calibratorsExperience with CEDM instrumentation systems (DRCS, HJTC, RSPT) and RCP I&CKnowledge of pneumatic instrument systems: positioners, volume boosters, solenoid valves, I/P convertersExperience with thermocouple, RTD and speed/vibration sensor calibration and replacementFamiliarity with loop checking procedures and Post Maintenance Testing (PMT) requirementsProficient with process calibrators, signal simulators, decade boxes and oscilloscopesProficient with MS Project or Primavera scheduling toolsLeadership & Personal SkillsStrong supervisory and man management skillsAbility to make complex technical decisions under pressureGood communication and cross-department coordination skillsThorough knowledge of nuclear/power plant safety proceduresMust complete required safety courses (confined space, radiation exposure, working at height)Ability to read, understand and plan to an Outage scheduleGood understanding of Project Management principles including Critical Path.
