The platform connects IB students with experienced and carefully selected educators who have strong knowledge of IB curricula, assessment requirements, and international education standards.Edu Plus aims to provide accessible, personalized, and high-quality IB learning experiences through expert instruction, helping students develop their subject knowledge, academic skills, and confidence while preparing effectively for IB assessments and examinations.Role DescriptionThe Online IB Tutor (MYP & DP) will deliver high-quality, student-centered instruction to IB students across assigned MYP and DP subjects. The role involves planning and conducting engaging lessons, supporting students with coursework and Internal Assessments, preparing students for IB examinations, reviewing assignments, and providing regular, constructive feedback on academic progress.Tutors will adapt their teaching approaches to different learning needs and learning styles, maintain accurate records of student progress, and work closely with the Edu Plus academic team to ensure consistent and high-quality IB teaching standards.Edu Plus is particularly interested in recruiting experienced IB teachers and IB Examiners who have a strong understanding of IB assessment criteria and examination requirements and can provide students with expert guidance based on practical experience with IB teaching and assessment.QualificationsDemonstrated teaching experience within the IB MYP and/or DP.Strong subject-matter expertise in an IB DP or MYP subject.Previous experience as an IB Examiner is highly desirable and will be strongly valued.Solid understanding of IB assessment criteria, examination requirements, and assessment practices.Experience preparing students for IB examinations, Internal Assessments, and other IB assessments.Proven experience teaching secondary-level students in an IB World School or international school environment.Excellent communication, explanation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to engage and support students from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds.Strong lesson-planning, organizational, and time-management skills.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a relevant subject area.IB professional development, IB workshop certificates, examiner experience, or other IB qualifications are highly advantageous.Professional fluency in English.Commitment to student-centered learning, academic excellence, and continuous professional development.Ability to use online teaching platforms, digital learning resources, and learning management systems effectively.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will be an experienced IB educator, preferably with IB Examiner experience, who combines strong subject knowledge with a deep understanding of IB teaching, learning, and assessment.
