Team members work in a collaborative environment that values ethical practice, continuous learning, and quality improvement.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site ICU role based at KIMS UAIMS Hospital in Sangli-Miraj and Kupwad. The role involves providing continuous critical care to ICU patients, including assessment, monitoring, and management of acute and complex medical conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing patient histories, ordering and interpreting investigations, coordinating treatment plans, and responding promptly to emergencies. The professional in this role collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams, communicates with patients’ families, and ensures adherence to clinical protocols and infection control standards. The role also includes documentation of care, participation in clinical audits, and support for quality and safety initiatives within the ICU.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Critical Care Medicine competencies, with the ability to manage critically ill patients and handle emergency situations effectively.Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Medicine, including comprehensive clinical assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment planning.Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills to work collaboratively with medical teams and interact sensitively with patients and families.Candidates should possess a customer-focused approach and Customer Service skills, ensuring respectful, timely, and compassionate care delivery.Relevant postgraduate qualification or specialization in critical care, internal medicine, anesthesiology, or a related field is preferred; valid medical registration with appropriate regulatory authorities is required.Experience in ICU or high-dependency units, familiarity with ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and advanced life support protocols (e.g., ACLS/BLS certification) is highly beneficial.Ability to work in shifts, maintain composure under pressure, follow hospital policies, and contribute to ongoing training and quality improvement activities.
