The company aims to build long-term relationships with clients by consistently meeting high service standards.Role Description The ICU Incharge (Intensivist - MD) will oversee clinical operations within the Intensive Care Unit, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based patient care. Responsibilities include managing critically ill patients, leading multidisciplinary rounds, supervising clinical staff, and coordinating with other departments for smooth patient transitions. The role involves monitoring patient progress, updating treatment plans, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards. The ICU Incharge will also mentor junior clinicians, support training initiatives, and contribute to quality improvement activities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jamkhandi.Qualifications MD or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine, Anesthesia, Pulmonary Medicine, or a related specialty, with formal training or substantial experience in Critical Care.Strong clinical skills in managing ventilated patients, hemodynamic monitoring, emergency interventions, and complex ICU cases.Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, provide clear guidance, and coordinate care among physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals.Proficiency in maintaining detailed medical records, preparing clinical reports, and using hospital information systems or electronic health records.Commitment to patient safety, infection control practices, and adherence to evidence-based guidelines and institutional protocols.Effective communication skills for interacting with patients’ families, colleagues, and hospital administration with empathy and professionalism.Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and make timely, sound clinical decisions in high-acuity situations.Experience in organizing or participating in clinical audits, morbidity/mortality reviews, and other quality improvement initiatives is an advantage.Willingness to work in rotational shifts as required by ICU operations and to participate in on-call duties.
