ID and Common Access Card (CAC) Services

We are seeking an ID and CAC Services professional to support identification card issuance and DEERS/RAPIDS operations at TJAGLCS. This position serves military members, retirees, eligible civilian employees, and family members while safeguarding identification materials and verifying eligibility under applicable policies.ResponsibilitiesReview source documents, verify eligibility, discuss applicable entitlements, and issue military ID cards and CACs to eligible recipients.Issue Government ID cards (DA Form 1602), identification tags, and Geneva Convention cards to eligible personnel.Generate DD Form 2842 and/or DD Form 1172 for authentication, validation, and random sampling.Register, process, and maintain information in the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) and the Real-Time Automated Personnel Identification System (RAPIDS).Perform Verifying Officer (VO) and Site Security Manager (SSM) duties, including maintaining the RAPIDS user roster, managing authorized system privileges and site information, and verifying required SSM certifications.Account for and control CAC-related stock items.Perform all duties in accordance with applicable DoD policy, Army regulations, the Certification Practice Statement, the RAPIDS Training Guide, and TJAGLCS local policy.Minimum qualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.At least five years of experience in the functional area and customer conflict resolution.Ability to brief or instruct large groups on matters within the functional area.Knowledge of current policies and policy changes relevant to the work, including changes within the past three years.
